What Do You Think?

I found this cute little hoodie dress at WM today. Not sure if it suits my Vanessa Perrin doll. I'm sure it was made for the FF gals or the My Scene. But I wanted to try it on her and see what you all think.

Finally Got Her!

Today I went back to Samko! I was looking for a specific doll which they didn't have but....they did have the Nascar Barbies and they are half the price of what they are in Walmart. Since Jeff Gordon is my fav Nascar driver, I got the Barbie wearing Jeff's colours. The Dale Jr. Barbie is the same doll as the Dooney and Burke. But I really like this doll's (Jeff) hair and facial paint. She will be a Doltonite!

Redressing

Well tonight I finally opened my Dooney and Burke Barbie. She had been viewing DH from her perch on top of my speakers. I also finally opened all those bags of doll clothing that I bought several weeks ago at the Value Village. Boy there was some goodies in them! Anyway here's Janina wearing a very tight fitting pair of bell bottom slacks and a pretty good matching top. Not bad for second hand clothing eh! BTW she also has those new saddle stands like the Top Model dolls. Not only is it a saddle where she 'sits' but it also has brackets to hold her legs in place. I really like these stands!

All in all quite a few DHer's got some outfits, even if they are mix and match. Here's a skirt and a pair of shorts that one of my Bratz girls got. I think it looks cute on her! Oh yeah and there's another Bratz in the background wearing a Stacey outfit (I think). I just have to find her some other footwear, like sandals LOL

Brown Ponchos

Well I got tired and bored of the plain ole poncho look. So I came up with this idea of adding the eyelash as a fringe trim around the edges. I also made a hat with the same idea. Tell me what you think.

Skipper outfit on TK

I bought these skipper outfits on sale today. As you can see they fit my TK perfectly. Even the running shoes fit her! Considering they were only a $1. each, it was a bargain!

Different Sized Ponchos

As I mentioned on the DCA blog I make about 4 ponchos a day. Here's mylatest crop. Yesterday I tried my hand at making a poncho for Kelly. Tell me what you think! I have lots of very thin wool (found it stashed in a bin LOL) So I am going to make some more.
The peachy coloured one on the tall Skipper was actually intended for a Stacey sized doll but I couldn't find her for the picture. Oh well she misses out eh!
Currently I am making colour themed ponchos and have 4 ready for tomorrow's posting. My wrist needs a break!

Sweaters From Karen

Yesterday I received this package full of wonderful sweaters from my friend Karen in B.C. She sells on ebay under the name "thishasyournameonit"

I even opened up Tracey (Tyler that is sitting) just so she could wear the beige sweater! I love the stripes down the arms and front. Karen is so creative and has a great imagination don't you think? She often inserts jewellery or brooches in her items too, which is a nice touch. The red sweater came with a necklace that she beaded. Hmmm will have to ask how she did that!

Karen has knit over 120 sweaters for the Doltonites and the Venetians! I bet you remember them from my fashion shows from a few years ago! Has it been that long? I shall have to repost some for you.

Thank you Karen! Your sweaters are very much appreciated by myself and of course my dollies *big grin*
