New Arrivals
I stopped in at MFD today and as you can see these two gals came home with me. MFD is adjusting their prices because of our high Canadian Dollar, so they came down in price! Cher and Titanic Rose Barbie won't become Doltonites, as they will go into my cabinet, someplace. Squeeze over everybody LOL

Sorry no...
Chairs or ponchos today. AS you can see by my enclosed blog pic, I have many cans in various stages being readyed/readied (sp) to be turned into chairs. I still have two more cans in the dishwasher too LOL
As for ponchos I am working on a series of ponchos at the moment and will post them when they are all finished.
Today is gloomy and we finally are receiving the much needed rain. I think it's been over a month since our last rainfall! It's much cooler too, which is nice IMO. I can't tolerate the heat and the humidity. We are coming into my time of year, fall and of course winter. I imagine that we will get a lot of precipitation this winter, hopefully in the form of snow because we had such a dry summer.
Well I'm off to Dolton for an hour or so and also have laundry to do. Later I am going to make yet another batch of tomato relish.
Catch you all later.

Samko today!
Yep I went back. Some new products were or rather different stuff, but not pertaining to our scale. There was a really neat 4 poster bed that would have fit my 16" folks but it came with a baby doll and a pram, too much to have to buy just to get one item!
As you can see I stocked up on Legolas. If any of you wants one, they are $12 U.S. that includes my taxes and exchange, which is very little at this point. Shipping is extra of course or will trade for equal value. You know the drill.
The redheaded Kellys (3 pack) I picked up for Marion and one set for me *grin*. I also picked up a few extra Tommy's as these are hard to find. LMK if anyone wants one, they are $4. (with the tax and exchange rate)
Yvonne do you want one of the Prince guys? I will email you privately about it incase you don't see this post.
Of course I also bought more of the clothing packs, this time for the Doltonites! LOL
I am managing to spend an hour down there once a day. Hopefully I will have my Halloween set up ready in time for Oct. 31, if I start now LOL
Another Day - Another chair & More Ponchos
We finally got rain! 2 a.m. this morning it poured buckets! Then the lightening arrived and one or two bangs of thunder. The storm didn't last long but the rain did. It was a welcomed event. But it is still very warm today and of course muggy. It looks like we will get more precipitation. That's okay too. I'm off to Samko later, after my breakfast.
Today's pic is of yet another chair. As you may have noticed this one is a bit taller than the others. It's made from a salmon can. They fit the poser dolls much better accommodating their longer legs. Also I like to put taller chairs in the corner of my rows so they can be seen better.
The poncho on the silkie you have seen before but other two I made last night. Varigated wool is so versitile. If I find the right shade I will make more ponchos and chairs with it. Pink/salmon and Red will be the other alternating colours. I have both shades but the wool is rather thick so I will have to check my stash LOL

Ponchos and Chair for today
My poor dollies! It's 80 degrees and I am making them model ponchos LOL It's so hot out even the wind is hot! Looks like a storm brewing and we are supposed to get rain tomorrow. I sure hope so, we need it bad!
These two Barbie ponchos were made with thinner wool so they are more to scale. The pink poncho fits the taller gals, which Alex has decided to keep for the coming cooler weather!
The chair only has one arm, which I often make to put at the end or beginning of a row.

I'm Hungry!
Fashion Show
Here are some of the Doltonites modeling the new outfits that I bought at Samko yesterday. These outfits specifically were made for the My Scene dolls although as you can see none of my MS's are wearing them LOL
I may still go back and get another package of these outfits just for my MY Scene gals. All the girls in the fashion show are from the Heights and Silkendale. Guess I better buy more sets for the Doltonites eh! Or I am in big trouble LOL
BTW if you run your cursor over the picture then click you can enlarge the pic for better viewing.
Stay tuned more to come.
Which One Do you Prefer?
P.S. I couldn't find out where to make the poll. Okay so I figured out how to make the poll for this but it didn't go with this picture. It's at the top right side of the Dashboard. Oh I'll figure this out eventually!

Dollarama Gown
Mini Fashion Show
This was a bit rushed as I am trying to get all the gals dressed before the sun sets and I lose my natural light. Will have to finish it tomorrow I'm afraid but here is what I have for now. Some of these outfits fit the belly button dolls, some only fit the posers and only one fits a tnt Barbie. Who knew eh!

My New Blog
In addition to the Doll Collectors Anonymos Blog I have decided to start my own blog just on Dolton. You can each make your own blogs pertaining to your towns. We can still post on the DCA Blog but keep our individual blogs for our towns. Tell me what you think about this.
You may have noticed that the population sign for Dolton has only a 3 digit number. This picture was taken for one of my stories as the population of Dolton during the time frame of that particular story. The actual population is 2363.
