Parts of the Fashion Show

Never before have I mixed my Doltonites and Silkstones. But for this occassion I made an exception. Also some of the Dolton Heights residents who received sweater outfits came to Dolton to participate in the Fashion Show. And so many of them got together and made new friends. Some have even started dating LOL

Well I hope you enjoyed the show. Already the Integrity Brothers are talking about expanding the store with the success they are having. But I have to retire for the night as we are leaving for Ottawa in 5 hours and I must get some sleep. Have a good weekend everybody.

Sales are Brisk

Well the guys from Silkendale finally made it to the store. Here is Lee and Dennis admiring the shirts.
Lee: Boy look at all the shirts! I could wear a different one each day of the week!




Meanwhile Paul has found some jeans.
Tessic: They fit you well sir.
Paul: Yes now I need a top to go with them. Something warm.

"What do you think guys?" Asks Paul as he shows off his new outfit.

"Hey I could use a sweater too!" remarks Lee. "But I don't see any on the rack here.

Paul: I got mine over there off the shelf unit. You could ask the salesman.

"I'm sorry sir" Martok tells him. "But we are all sold out of sweaters. They really went fast. But I can assure you there will be more coming soon. "

The Manequin

While his father was browsing through the shirts, little Ronnie saw a manequin that moved.
"Look up there Dad." he points.
"Yes Son it's a manequin, now come on."
"But Dad he moved."
"No he's a manequin, they can't move."



"But Dad I saw him move, look his hat is gone!"










"It probably fell off, now come on, your Mother's probably finshed at the hair dresser's now."





"Okay Jovis time for break." His brother Tristan comes to relieve him.










"See Dad I told you!"

First Customers

Here's a sneak preview of the brothers setting up the various departments.
Kwami is hanging up the shirts on the clothing rack.

Tessic is folding the casual clothing.

And Tristan is sorting out the shoe rack.

They have a full compliment of tuxedos for that special occasion.

Dennis and Lee were reading the Saturday Edition of the Dolton Chronicles. There was of course no newspaper up in the Heights, Silkendale or Venus for that matter. So when a complimentary copy was dropped off in the Heights, Dennis grabbed it.
Lee: Hey Den whatcha’ looking at?
Dennis: It’s a newspaper from some city, I guess, called Dolton.
Lee: Hey I’ve heard of that place. Never been there tho’. Anything good in it?
Dennis: So-so, goings on mostly in town. Who’s having a baby, gossip mostly





"Look at the back side, there’s a full page ad. " Said Paul who appeared. He took the paper from the men’s hands and flipped it over. Sure enough there was a full page advertising a new men’s clothing store that had just opened.

Paul: Hey I could use something to wear. It’s chilly in my boxers and tee!
The other two men just chuckled.
"Yeah" said Lee, "maybe we should go down and check out this store. The Dolton Heights store is still under construction. I don’t know when it will ever reopen."
And so it was agreed that the men would travel to Dolton and check this new store out. Stay tuned as more of the story is coming soon.

Finally It's Halloween

Finally I got my Halloween scene set up. It's not very good I'm afraid as most of my props and all my costumes are in Dolton!!! And of course unavailable for me to get to. So I've made the most of things and set up a little dance, which was held up in Lofton.
Here's your invitation to join us.

You are invited to the Halloween dance up in Lofton. You must wear either a costume or orange and black colours. And you MUST wear a mask.

From left to right is of course Spiderman, then there's the Devil's wife, a marksman (Legola) sitting on the rafter beside one of the many skeletons that are hanging about LOL. Then there is Adam and Eve wearing their Sunday best leaves LOL Adam's came from the outside. Lastly is the Devil himself.

New Man In Town

Today I picked up Dick Tracy. What a handsome man he is!
Looks like he is checking for his famous watch. But what it's gone! (not part of package just a story line).

Dick looks straight at me.
"Do you know what time it is?" he asks.
Well I do know that clocks fell back an hour this past weekend, so maybe your watch is in another time zone, I thought to tell him.
No need, his attention was soon taken away from the time when he saw all the ladies waiting in Venus.
I don't think Dick will be looking for his watch anymore *grin*

Last week I also picked up Xmas Jett. While it's a little early for xmas (at least here) and it was the 31st when she arrived in town, I thought I would set the mood. Oh yes Halloween has not happened yet in Dolton but never fear it's coming soon.

Like Dick without his watch, there is no need for time in our towns as it can be anytime time or date we want, when we want. So stay tuned!

My New Addiction

Found a few more of these cuties while I was out today. Stores are starting to get their Christmas stock on the shelves. There are suppose to be Christmas releases of these gals (but they weren't out of course). I did manage to get the last Halloween one they had in stock at WM. There were four different styles (cat, vampire, witch and ghost) when they were released. In some cases these were going kind of high on eBay. I also noticed that KM had a porcelain Bratz as well which was a new one I hadn't seen retailing at $49.94. It will be a must have for any serious Bratz collector. (Two new gals in wearing pretty neat outfits in a huge display box). Loads of Hannah Montana, High School Musical 3, and even a Barbie on display with clothing nearby for little girls that matched what the Barbie was wearing. I think it was called Just Like Me or something like that. Happy shopping.
