Here Comes the Bride!

These 3 bridesmaids are Mikki's sister's and cousin - Layne (yellow earrings) is a sister, Emma-Jane (brunette) is a sister. And Angeline (with the bow in her hair) is a cousin.

Irish Wedding

In case you are wondering I haven't forgotten about the wedding. I need a whole day to set up the scene and real life has been keeping me busy.

St. Patrick's Day may be two weeks past but in our doll world it can be any day we chose, right! In our doll world time passes much slower than real life. Maybe that is why they don't age as we do LOL

Today I brought all the dressed dolls up to Venus (Ireland) for the wedding, so hopefully tomorrow I can set it all up. Stay tuned!

Bratz Girls

Here's the two Bratz gals out of their plastic prisons.
Chloe (blonde) is offering to brush Meagan's hair. They each came with real make-up (for a real person to wear), a brush and some glitter for their hair, which you can wash out. They can stand alone when placed properly.









Here they are with Micheal's horse (Micheal from Venus) Boy he isn't going to be too happy! To them she's just a pony!












"You keep the horse" Chloe tells Meagan, "I'll take the dog!"
The dog was actually a birthday gift (joke) for Real Life Jack LOL She sits by our patio doors and guards the house for us.












Here is Francine, who was a walking doll at one time. She was a Christmas gift from Santa when I was 2 years old! Do the math LOL
She's wearing the Easter beads that Yvonne sent.









Here's Francine and her dog Meaghan. This dog was painted for me by my nephew over 30 years ago.

IRL I had Collies as pets. I was always a dog person.

Happy St. Paddy's Day everyone. Hope you all are wearin' "the green" LOL I have to wear blue for work (uniform) but my fingernails will be a bright green LOL

BTW the dancers are not waving to you, they are doing their jig, well okay pretend ha ha ha!

Ohhhhhhhh Boy!

Happy Birthday Barbie! Okay it wasn't today but.... Mattel is celebrating all week and today they had 40% all their dolls.I got almost the whole set of the birthday series only January and March were missing. The Birthday series will remain NFRB.





I also bought the Bride from Enchanted, 2 more Island Prince's and Gabriella from High School Musical. Here's 4 of the new residents. I am opening the May Birthstone, since I already had her (from Yvonne) in my cabinet. Now I have one to play with.






I'm off to buy lottery tickets after having to change my numbers yet again! Wish me luck everyone I "need" a bigger house LOL

Oh and T.G.I.F. everyone *grin*

Been Shopping Again!!!

MFD notified me that my new silkie was in, as was a Gene that I ordered. Of course I bought another TK from her sale and an Esme gal that was also on sale. Then I went back to Zeller's (different store) and bought the raven haired Top Model Resort doll. I felt so bad that I left her out the other day.LOL

You may not have noticed but in my populations, Silkendale has caught up and tied with Bratzville. Which one will reach 50 first?

Now I'm off to play my newest lottery numbers. Then it's playtime!!!

Only 2 Today

Zeller's has 25% of all Barbie dolls this week so I decided to go and see if I find some that weren't already in my collection. I only found 2 LOL Well there were others that I wanted but they were not included in the sale, seems that they had to be Barbie's and not just Mattel products. Ugh!
There is another version of the Island Ken, that is not a poser and does not have pointed elf ears. I will pick him up soon. And one of the Muscial Dance dolls isn't bad looking. He is a poser. But I will not pay $15 for him. He also looks a bit shorter than regular Ken. I'm thinking he might be on the same height level as TK. When I get him, I will let you know.
So here's the two new gals that came to town today. Both these gals are named "Summer" but will go into different families in Dolton. Now I have 3 in the series of the FF Barbie (red jeans). I was going to buy the raven Resort gal but I didn't like the hair. Mattel must have had a bad batch of rayon this time LOL
Stay tuned, as I have shopping fever! Must be this long winter we are having. Expecting freezing rain tonight and a snow storm tomorrow. I'll be hibernating in Dolton for the rest of the week LOL

I bought this bride at a toy show in January. She has been waiting patiently for her groom, who arrived today. Hmmm I think a wedding is coming up LOL
Does this mean Barbie "finally" marries Ken!!!!

Arrivals from Tennessee

Today Yvonne's package arrived! It's like Christmas when her boxes come! Inside were 3 new residents. One was a surprise but equally welcomed! Here they are, plus a couple of little scenes. Then I'm off to work. Oh I can hardly wait to get home and play!
Here's the new residents! I just love the new groom doll. Has anyone out there seen him yet? He is sooooo cute!

Also if any of you see this Ken outfit, please, please, (I'm begging here LOL) buy it for me. As many as you can get. I WILL PAY or swap for it. There is absolutely NO Ken clothing here!

More Tk's Have Come to Town

Well I went back to MFD today to buy more TK's *grin*
These dolls are being discountinued so I figured I better stock up LOL
I also purchased a Sydney Chase and Tyler Wentworth in underwear, which also includes long haired wigs. I wanted these two cos they had short hair and none of my Venetians have short hair. These two gals were the store display models.
The doll in the back is the latest My Scene gal called Delancey. I bought her for two reasons; 1 cos I liked her and the other cos her hair changes colour. She is like the Tuesday Taylor doll of the 70's where you could swivel the top of her head and on the opposite side is hair of a different colour. Below are the two versions of her. The blonde part is very thin. So the theme today inadvertantly is: Tiny Kitties, blk & white dogs, sleepwear/underwear and hair aka wigs.

The two dogs are Beanies and Delancey comes with a black and white mutt.




Can you see the tattoo on her shoulder area? Also her earrings are in the shape of tiny purses. Delancey is one of 4 in this series. I haven't seen the others yet.
