Sometimes it takes awhile for the post to show up on the blog. I guess it depends on how busy the internet or this site is. I noticed they changed the format when I receive the emails. You can click on the blog subject in the email and it takes you right to that entry. I am really liking this site Diane. It's just taking me awhile to find my way around it. What I did was whenever I found something that I was looking for I copied the url and emailed it to myself. That why wherever I want to go I just open up the blog email folder that I made and it's easy to find! Of course you have to sign in each time *sigh*
There is one complaint however, to get to the Dashboard, you have to start a new blog entry for that page to show up. Other than the previous method that I just explained about. Is that how you get there? Also thanks for voting on my poll. I notice it does not sit in my blog entry but sits off to the side.
No it wasn't a timing thing...yesterday I was getting an acutal error message when trying to post, and apparantly it's a known issue because there are other posts about it in the Help group. Maybe it comes and goes though, or is dependent on something else happening for it to glitch.
I suspect the email notices you are getting now look different because it is now coming direct from Blogger and not through the Google Group mail. Before I created the group, when Yvonne commented the very first time it came to my R.R. Inbox and looked different than the ones coming from the group. Comments do not come through even though I have the group address in the notification box. Weird, huh?
The easiest way to find your way around is to just go to http://www.blogger.com That way you sign in and it brings up the Dashboard. You can bookmark the jfmdolton.blogspot.com or the dollcollect.blogspot.com (DCA) one, because for example on DCA you don't need to be logged in just to view it.
