Ooooh!!! Nice job Jane!!! :)
Your little trick or treaters are adorable, where'd you get those little masks?
Neat wedding scene, who is the maid of honor? She's gorgeous.
Hey I like that pumpkin sweater on your Venus gal!
You're having too much fun LOL
Thanks for sharing!

Oh! I noticed now when you leave a comment there is a little check box asking if you want follow up comments emailed! So I'm testing it out LOL

Oh I will have to look into that too Diane. Maybe cos I am the author of
that particular post I automatically get it but if someone else is the
author I guess that is when we "check it off"!? LMK if it works.
As you probably realized by now, that replying to your comment from my email did not work. So I came here to post my reply. I think it because this site is not public.

The masks on the little trick or treaters came with each particular doll.
The bride is Morticia, wearing a veil from Spanish Barbie and her original gown. The maid of honour is another Morticia doll, with her hair done up. The father of the bride is Wyatt Earp (couldn't find his gun LOL). The usher, best man and groom are all Gomez dolls who are wearing the skeleton heads. The preacher is the pumpkin head/two headed guy. This particular Ken, has a head that keeps falling off (I bought him second hand many years ago) and kept him for a particular story (which will be included in my current novel that is still in progress!)
I have wanted to do a Halloween wedding for this couple since I bought them, as I thought Oct. 31, would be an appropriate date for them to marry.
The pumpkin sweater was bought at the dollar store, and was a bit big on her. It is pinned at the back. I also bought pumpkin fabric and quickly made up a pair of trousers for her. She is carrying a pumpkin also but it turned away for the picture LOL
Several props are missing from my scene which really upset me last night. Today of course I found one of them! *fume* Figures eh!
Did you get your scene set up yet? There's still time. Don't forget we really don't have to follow the real life date. I may still continue the wedding scene as I find the rest of the props for it.
Stay tuned LOL

WOW! Those were great scenes!!
LOVED the spooky wedding...those skeleton guys are to die for!

Your Venus dwellers had the coolest costumes too...loved that scarecrow guy and his vicious dog!

Looks like Dolton really knows how to celebrate Halloween!

Thanks Connie. Did you get your scene set up?
I think I may continue the wedding scene depends on how much time I have. Have to start decorating Dolton for Xmas!

Hi Jane!

I'm a lazy doll collector...I leave my holiday scenes up year round!

But...I did finally add the tombstones and lion gargoyles to the roof of my Halloween house. I will take pictures soon!

Looking forward to seeing them Connie. I will post them here if you want to send them to me. I'm still waiting for the convention photos too *hint hint* LOL

Oops...told you I was a lazy doll collector. The convention pictures are STILL in my camera which is full so I can't take any new pictures til I download them.

I will get off my butt and download them this weekend...if I don't get distracted and forget again....sigh...
