Okay today I am on my computer and it actually allowed me to get into the dashboard and post--Jaime's computer won't let me into your blog Jane---I also am trying my first picture. It is of Meg dressed as a cat for Halloween. It has turned cooler here. Yesterday morning it was about twenty seven degrees and stayed pretty cool all day long. It was thirty seven this morning so not quite as bad. It is supposed to warm back up for the next few days. We had to use the kerosene heater for the past couple of days---I will have to buy more kerosene this weekend so we can have it for the next cold snap which will probably come in a week or so. We had to find heaver jackets, too. I was also wearing my flip flops until last weekend when they tore completely apart. So now I am into tennis shoes. I finally got Meg out of her jelly shoes and into tennis shoes and socks--she would go bear foot all the time if I would let her. Jaime's new job is working out well and things are finally getting back to normal . Next Monday is Jaime's birthday and then it is only six weeks until Christmas Eve. I wish I could get into the holiday spirit but so far I haven't been able too. I have decided for Thanksgiving I am only going to cook a big turkey and then have cheese, pickles, rolls, and pickles ---I have lost the joy of cooking all morning long and washing dishes all afternoon--- while Gary watches stupid judge shows on TV----gotten contrary in my old age. Talk to everyone later if I can get back on my computer.

Meg looks adorable! I bet they had a good time trick or treating. We had some 'weeners come by but not as many as some previous years. I'm still in flip flops and t-shirts, although the past two days were rather chilly - in the 60's. Today it got up to almost 80 again [sigh]

I'm the only person in this city still not wearing a coat! But I have started wearing shoes and socks, only because of the rain. Tonight was chilly tho' (we went out for supper) mainly because of the rain and the dampness. I should get my (sewn)ponchos finished one of these years. This is the perfect weather to wear them in and they are all in fashion again!
