Today's picture is of Wolfie and Queenie's new house. I took off trash yesterday and afterward I checked out our local Goodwill---I was actually looking a RL chair for our RL living room. Seems the little chair we have can be easily turned over by a herd of running kitties in the middle of the night. However I found an Andy Williams Christmas CD and Barbie's Talking Town House. The CD was three dollars and the house was six. After looking online I discovered I was only missing a breakfast bar that swings down, two bar stools and the couch for the living room. I know I have some sitting things when I turn it around but as you can see by the crowd Queenie and Wolfie are having open house. They are glad to have a larger home now that the holidays are so near. Some time ago I posted Queenie, Wolfie, Logan and Larry on the Yahoo blog but have never posted pictures of the twin girls Sharon and Shannon---seems the boys took their looks after their dad and the girls took their looks after their mom.

Jaime and cousin Heather are out this afternoon---Heather finally got moved into a small duplex and she wanted Jaime to see it. Meg is napping and I have been watching mindless TV---first was Shrek, now is Chicken Run and How the Grinch Stole Christmas is coming up next.

It has been somewhat cool here today---a few got hot at church and they turned off the heat and by the time preaching was over my hands were hurting from the cold. Right now I am having coffee with gingerbread coffee creamer (to me it tastes more like pumpkin pie but it is pretty good. ) I also bought the peppermint coffee creamer too. Last year they had chocolate and irish cream but I like these better. I wouldn't want to drink all my coffee flavored with them but it makes me think of having dessert and keeps me out of the candy and cookie bowls :) I am cooking breakfast for supper tonight---I just got through frying a skillet of potatoes and have sausage in right now. (I buy the turkey sausage---it has less fat therefore it has less waste and it doesn't give me heartburn. I also buy the turkey bacon and turkey ground meat most of the time. I have to dispose of the wrappers so Gary doesn't see them cause he wouldn't eat it if he knew but he brags on how moist and tasty it is when he doesn't know---it's true that most things are in your head. I can buy the low fat Pringles and he won't eat them but if I but them in a regular Pringles can he will clean out the can. He can't stand mushrooms but I make my macaroni and cheese using cream of mushroom soup for the white sauce and adding cheese to eat and he loves it.

I also have a dressing receipe to share if you like rice and you like dressing er stuffing. Chop about a cup of onion and a cup of celery and soften in the microwave five to ten minutes depending on your oven. Cook two cups of rice in six cups of chicken broth (bought will work but of course home made has a little more flavor) When the rice has absorbed almost all it's water add the softened vegetables and let the rest of the water absorb then add poultry seasoning to taste. I admit it doesn't have a crunchy outside unless you forget it and the rice sticks to the pot but it is easy and tasty and fast. I suppose you could use the instant rice (I don't buy instant because we eat so much rice it would get real pricey) Talk to everyone later am off to watch Boris Karloff do the Grinch :)

Yvonne you can post more than 1 picture at a time, when you post on this blog!
I guess Wolfie and Queenie are pleased with their new digs.
I've never tried turkey sausages. I tried chicken/turkey bacon and liked it but Jack wouldn't eat it, so I bet he won't eat the turkey sausages. *sigh* Men eh!
So I gather Heather and hubby have officially split up!
I'll keep an eye out for the missing furniture pieces for you. I bet others will let you know if they see it too.
Thanks for the rice recipe. I used to stuff my turkey with rice, cos I never used to like real stuffing. Of course back then I didn't have a microwave so I fried the onion and celery. I will have to try your version although I don't stuff my turkey's anymore. Too lazy LOL
I'm buying those flavoured milk/creamers for my step daughter for xmas. She loves that stuff.

I used to stuff my birds but discovered the dressing er stuffing was way to heavy (guess it was all the grease dribbling into it from the birds) and it made the bird take way too long to cook. So I put the bird (if chicken in a crock pot and if turkey in one of those plastic roasting bags) and let it cook on low till it reaches 140 on a quick meat themometer and let it rest and the carryover heat makes it go to 160 degrees. I usually put my turkey in late the night before in one of those huge roasters (my oven is kaput) on low and by the next morning he is done. Then I let him cool well and pour out his broth and go from there. I like the cornbread dressing but don't like to make it cause I can can't judge bread all that well but with rice I know how much I am going to have. I also don't want to stuff the birds cause I don't want sam and ella (two unwanted guests) for dinner.

That was a good buy Yvonne! I'm sure they will be very happy there.
I found a townhouse at Goodwill one day (not the talking one) but they wanted $12 and I couldn't justify it. Especially when I have so many playsets and a Grand Hotel still boxed in the garage.

I have noticed the different Goodwills price things differently---sometimes it is cheaper to buy them new than there but I have been lucky on most of my doll house buys but sometimes they want too much for the dolls themselves although when we were in Murfreesboro yesterday I found a baby Bratz Yazmin (with hair)for two dollars and they are about ten new.

I think I saw that house somewhere new Yvonne. It was the same colours anyway. Can you show us the other side?
