Today's pictures are of two new TuMani residents. Margie is a repro twist and turn--she is a long lost sister of Maggie (the first Barbie I ever had) Maggie is busy getting married---it has been a long ceremony as it has been going on for several years ---time moves differently in doll life :) The second picture is of Kathleen---she is the Summer Hair Model dolls---she has strawberry blonde hair with green stripes. Margie has pulled off her coat and hat because it is eighty degrees here. The girls are leaving in the morning for an anime convention in Nashville. I finally got through with all the costuming. I told Jaime if all else failed she could pin her obi if she doesn't have time tow sew on snaps. It is only about forty miles away but they have a friend that is getting a hotel room and they are going to room with her and all of them are going to split the cost of the room. Their portion of the room will be less than the cost of gas to go and come three days since our gas is now three dollars and a half a gallon. There have even been some cases of people driving off without paying----one woman in a SUV ran over the attendant at one station ---she is now in jail. This is Gary's weekend to work so the kitties and I will have the house to ourselves for the major part of three days. The only thing I don't like is we are supposed to get rain again---I think this is the fifth weekend it will have rained. We have had over twenty inches of rain since the beginning of the year. Gary went back to the doctor yesterday and he is doing just fine. I realize he is never going to be completely "cured" but there are people in a lot worse shape. As a matter of fact our friends Margaret and A B are two of them. Margaret has rheumatoid arthritis, lupus , has both breasts removed and a host of other problems, A B has had a triple bypass, diabetes, and I don't know how many cancerous growths he has had taken off his face and neck. Then there are Hazel and Donald. Hazel has high blood pressure and was in a car wreck a few years ago and has a metal hip and leg bone and Donald has had two heart attacks and is diabetic and all of them get up off their butts and move. Gary has yet to walk to our mail box. Okay enough of the soapbox for today. The residents that moved from Meg's room the Crossings seem to be happy now that everything is almost set back up. I do intend to put some little party lights around the perimeter of the house so they can see better . And they are in better spirits since I have put a fan in another window---poor things---when vinyl sweats it's awful.

when vinyl sweats it's awful. - LOL Tell me about it. I just threw out two residents last night with sticky, moldy sweat legs. A few more may join them as I find them. I don't think they are good for our health, especially in closed areas, such as Dolton. After all it is a chemical break down that causes this. Do wash your hands after handling dolls with this infliction. What I really hate is when it happens to more expensive collector dolls!
I will have to pick up the Summer with the green streaks and I have been eyeing the Barbie with the orange streaks. I am a sucker for those two colours!
Send the rain here, we need it!
