As promised here is a picture of my walking doll. She was named a "saucy walker" when she came out she walked (with your help) and turned her head from side to side and her eyes would also turn from side to side---it was hard to sneak up on her when I was little cause she was always turning those eyes and even Jaime and Meg thinks she is spooky as she will still turn her eyes if you try to sneak up on her. When she was new her hair was bright red and her eyes were blue but with age her hair has become dark auburn and her eyes have turned grey. She is not the oldest of my childhood dolls but she is the "Queen Bee" of TuMani.

I'm not sure what my brand or name my doll was. But she is 3 feet high and used to walk like your's Yvonne. She came from Montreal Quebec, same city I was born in. So I named her Francine (my middle name and my birth mother's name). Francine took a tumble down the stairs one day and since then cannot walk. But she has been with me since I was 2 years old. For many years of my life she was taller than me LOL
You said you use cold cream on her! Just on her face or all over her body? Any specific kind or would Noxema do? It's the closest thing I have to cold cream in this house.
I think your CSI group will be very happy in Tu Mani.
I usually use Pond's but I think Noxzema would work...just as long as it doesn't have much water in it. A good lotion would work as well just slather it on with your fingers then take a kleenex and rub it off and most of the dust and grime will come off --I use it all over her. I think Saucy is about 22 inches tall.
Strange thing about the CSI group is I got tired of all the other summer bs on TV and they were running mini marathons of the orginal CSI and then CSI Miami and I got trapped. I don't even really care that much for David Caruso but love his Horatio Caine character--if only real policemen were like him.
