Greetings from Lofton.

With the cooler weather (not to mention all the friggin' rain) I have been able to spend more time up in Lofton. Many of the DHer's have moved up there as well as the most of the Venetians. Dolton Heights is becoming a ghost town LOL Well not really. There's probably just as many residents here as up in Lofton. I am gradually making my way around the room up there pushing storage items further back beneath the eaves so I can have more room for the residents. Instead of having the houses on the floor I have several (and I mean several) plastic drawers set up around the attic where I will eventually reset up the houses and other scenes. I am planning to have a winter/xmas scene this year, as long as it doesn't get too cold.
In the first picture is the group that greets you as you come up the stairs (ladder actually) and turn face inward. One of the many plastic drawers if facing you. Most of them are holding wool, but this one and few others are holding the furniture from the houses that have been taken down.

This group is in the far back of the house. I guess there are about 100 residents in this area, most of which you can't see who are off to both sides of this picture. I think there are about 6 plastic drawers here with planks riding between them to hold all the dolls.

This group is to the right of the previous picture. They are as far back under the eaves that will allow for height. It's where the Lofton Mall and Grocery store was previously. To their right is a small book shelf (which you can't see). There's about a dozen residents on it.

Now we are back at the top of the stairs, in the ceiling you can see the edge of the solar fan. The wiring is for the ceiling lights, of which there are two florescent bulbs running down the centre of Lofton.

This picture is beside the stairs. I have a stereo here which the dolls in the yellow chairs are sitting on. Behind them is where the Venetian cottage used to be.

Oh and it is now pouring rain once again. Been this way all day. And very foggy too. It's cool but very muggy here mostly because of all the rain we have been getting. Speaking of rain I hope all of my Texas friends are safe and dry. Check in when you can. My thoughts are with you.
