It's a lovely fall day here. I am in a t-shirt and shorts once again. Had to dig out my flip flops which I had packed. Everyone on the street it seems is out working on the lawns or in the garden. I snapped this pic of the two cats checking it all out.
Was up til 4 a.m. packing in the basement. All my new residents that I bought this summer are now being boxed up. Next weekend we are leaving to take possession of our new home and the weekend after that we will have this house full of people to help us move. I sure hope the weather stays nice for us. Nothing is worse than moving in bad weather.
This weekend is our Thanksgiving. I did buy a small turkey and of course some pumpkin pie. It will be our last feast in this house. We have been eating out a lot since I am trying not to buy much in groceries other than bread, milk and the necessities.
Hey today is Scott Bakula's birthday. He was born the same year as me. Happy Birthday Scott where ever you are. It is also John Lennon's birthday this weekend. Today I think. Can you believe he would have been 70!!! Peace Brother.
